a metamorphmagus is a witch or wizard with the ability to change his or her physical appearance at will, rather than requiring polyjuice potion or a spell like the rest of the wizarding population. they are extremely rare. this ability generally only allows a change of a human appearance, however with enough practice and hard work, one may be able to transform into animals and other living creatures. this is not a skill that can be learned.

Being a Metamorphagus is a gift that Teddy has possessed since birth - it was something that, miraculously, was passed down from his mother, who was also a Metamorphagus. Having had it since birth, it took a while for him to learn to control it (a sneeze would bring a hair color change, getting upset and crying caused all kinds of color splotches to show up, etc.) His transformations were pretty common once he got the hang of it, though these days he rarely changes his appearance. It's not due to a lack of ability, but rather that he just doesn't feel like it half the time. While some Metamorphaguses can fully transform their bodies into other creatures and the like, Teddy hasn't yet mastered this skill. It takes more concentration than he's capable of providing at this current time, though if he could, he knows his first form would be a wolf if he can help it. But as of now he's only capable of altering his human appearance - hair color, skin tone, eye color, etc. He's not quite as skilled as his mother was.

Valena is the offspring of two half-blood vampires and she is in turn a half-blooded vampire herself. She does have a slight aversion to garlic but she doesn't much like it anyway and she keeps a supply of blood flavored lollipops whenever she has a craving for blood. Valena considers the traditional method of biting someone and consuming their blood to be a private and sensual thing to be shared with someone she is in love with. Unless she has been deprived of her blood flavored treats or blood in general for a long period of time there is little chance of her falling into a blood lust and attacking people.

i was born to a pureblood wizard and a pure veela, therefore i am half veela. i dont really claim my wizard side for my mother raised me mainly as a veela. i have the looks of a veela and yes i do look like a harpy if you piss me off. i tend to not dress girly like most veelas, but i will for those few special occasions.
