albus severus potter accepting, apathetic, devoted, distant, insecure, pessimistic friends, » albus isn't likely to have a lot of close friends. he has his family and he loves them, but that's different. albus can be hard to get along with, as he's rarely compassionate or sociable. to actually make friends with albus, one has to be very patient and persistent. they have to be willing to deal with his apathetic and distant attitude and not get offended by it. they'll have to be willing to wait to earn his trust, as it isn't something he just hands out. lovers, » albus is bisexual. he likes both women and men, and has no problem announcing a relationship with either. similar to friendship, it will take a while for albus to warm up. they will have to be willing to be in a relationship with a man who rarely seems to care about others, but understand that's not entirely the truth. one day, he might just show something that warms your heart. he tries his best in relationships, though honestly, a lot of it is forced and automatic - lover not feeling well? get him/her some flowers and a card (he learned that was effective from watching muggle soap operas). albus is also terrible at flirting. he will occasionally realize someone is trying to flirt with him, but that will only succeed in making him uncomfortable. he won't return the gesture, because he has no idea what to say. i don't really have anything in mind for albus for the long-term. i think i'd like for him to get into another relationship only to have it collapse terribly. also, i think it would be cool for him to interact with one of the three people mentioned in his history again. no specifics, really. Rose and Albus has to be a thing, these two have known each other their entire lives after all. I'm just going to write this hypothetically and you can point out anything you want to change or add to it.

Being the same age, Rose and Albus have had friendly rivalry from the time they were small. In school, they were always closely matched, a fact which has often annoyed Albus since he works hard for his achievements and Rose seems to just succeed without putting in much effort. They've bonded over their inability to understand other peoples problems and their view of relationships.

That sounds just about right! Albus would definitely be irritated but envious about that, Rose being able to succeed without much effort. He'd wonder how she can do it, when he has worked so hard to get where he is. I agree, bonding over that sounds exactly how it should be. I imagine he's probably closest to Rose out of the rest of the Weasleys.
