Beth always wanted to visit the homeland of her mother, who lived in USA. She had planned that after her graduation in Hogwarts University she would travel to New York and travel around the country, looking and meeting other mages like her. Everybody has fears and Beth is no exception. Her biggest fear is to end alone and that nobody realize she existed, it happened to her since she was a child and during her time in school. That’s why she always studies and works hard, so other could know her and see that she exists too and is able to do a lot of things.

Beth is a girl that never gives up when she tries something. She is very dedicated in her studies and towards her friends. Despite not being very talented in athletics, she will do her best. Beth is a very loyal friend once you meet her more and earn her trust, willing to defend her new friends if they are in danger. Beth is friendly and will enjoy hanging out with her friends and other people. She is an avid student and doesn’t mind helping her classmates or sharing ingredients during the potion classes. Beth is the daughter of an American woman and an Englishman, and she has taken an interest in learning everything about the two cultures, from the food till the places.
She is very shy at first time and is very bad at directions, she usually gets lost when she travels alone to new places and someone has to pick her later. Beth never had a boyfriend in her life so when a cute guy smiles at her, she will blush a lot and doesn’t know what to do or say to him. She will even daydream a little. She is clumsy and if you see her carrying a lot of things, you better help her, or everything will fall to the ground causing a big mess. Beth is only stubborn when she is decided to do or try something, even if she is going to fail. She never sees herself as a leader type, but if someone is wrong, she is willing to correct him with the decision they had took.

Family: Rebecca “Becky” Chapelle (mother), Arthur James Chapelle (father), Lisa Chapelle (paternal aunt).
Beth Dawn Chapelle was born of an American woman from New York, Rebecca a muggle, who recently traveled to London to work as a teacher, and of an Englishman, Arthur a mage, who worked as a businessman in Diagon Alley. When they met for first time in the streets of London, they fell in love and soon married, although Arthur decided not to tell his wife that he was a mage, not wanting to scare her. Soon they had their little daughter, Beth, named after the deceased mother of Rebecca.
Beth had a normal childhood, showing that she was an excellent student and Arthur believed that Beth wouldn’t be a magician, although he never knew that strange things happened around little Beth, like things that fell to the floor without being moved. But things changed in the family’s life when Beth turned eleven: she got a letter from Hogwarts, indeed proving that she was a half-blood. When Rebecca learned the truth about her husband, at first she got mad at him for lying to her and believed that for not telling the truth, he endangered her and Beth. But finally she decided to forgive her husband, and decided to support her daughter in the new path of her life, while trying to adapt to the new changes in their lives.
Soon Beth entered in the world of the Magic and she fell in love with it. She still remembered the first day she visited Diagon Alley and got her wand, 9 inches and pine wood with a nymph’s hair core.
